If you need earthquake-related support or information outside of what we do, these organisations may be able to assist:
- Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA) – The New Zealand Government established CERA to lead and coordinate the ongoing recovery effort following the devastating earthquakes of September 2010 and February 2011. The CERA website contains links to many useful earthquake information, resources and recovery websites.
- Earthquake Commission (EQC) is a New Zealand Government-owned Crown Entity that provides insurance cover against earthquakes and other natural disasters.
- Christchurch City Council is responsible for the city's infrastructure and is involved in coordinating the infrastructure rebuild. The Council is also responsible for water and waste issues, roading and traffic management, kerbside waste collection and parks management.
- Recover Canterbury offers a wide range of services and resources to help businesses affected by the earthquake such as training, mentoring, referrals to professional services or accessing funding.
