Glandovey/Bryndwr wastewater – survey notification
This a copy of a survey notification letter that was distributed to affected residents' letterboxes in Glandovey and Bryndwr in March 2012.
We are surveying infrastructure in your area to understand damage from the recent earthquakes in order to develop a repair strategy for the wastewater system. As part of the survey we are required to undertake a level survey of the wastewater networks that are located in/near your property.
To allow the wastewater survey to be undertaken we require access to your gully trap and any manholes or lines located within private property. Gully traps are typically located beside your buildings foundation and take wastewater from your toilet, shower, laundry and sinks etc, to the wastewater network. We would appreciate it if you would allow our surveyors access to your property; you do not need to be home for us to carry out this work.
We are carrying out investigations in your area over two weeks starting 26 March 2012. As a courtesy we will knock on your door if we need to enter your property.
Please advise Gavin Read of Clark Fortune McDonald, who will be undertaking the survey on 027 284 8487 if you have any potential barriers to site entry such as locked gates, dogs or garage entry.
Following the investigation, if any further works are required to the public infrastructure on your property we will contact you prior to conducting these works.
If you have any questions about the inspection please phone 03 941 8999 or email info@scirt.co.nz.
Thank you for your patience while we complete this important work.
